Encourage to always do Comprehensive Oral Exams and be open to other alternatives than only dental implants.

Silent failed endo treated #9-10. Asymptomatic. Not as part of chief complaint. Found in a Complete Oral Exam of Pt that came for “just a regular cleaning”. Bone defect and active infection perforated nasal floor and OAC occurred. Infection and OAC managed successfully. Not good quality of bone for dental implants but a fixed bridge worked great it’s been with no pathology and totally functional for 15 years.
