This is a case where a one-piece oval platform and tissue-level ceramic implant was used to fill a large mesio-distal space left after extraction of a mandibular molar. Bucco-lingual bone width was not sufficient to accomodate a large diameter (>6mm) cylindrical implant. The tissue-level/prosthetic portion of the implant can be prepped like a tooth and the oval shape of the prosthetic platform alloys to have a softer emergence profile and avoid black triangles altogether. #ceramicimplants #zirconia #iaoci2016
